A swim for one, plus two??

Faylen stretched as he slowly walked to the great lake, quite content on how the day had been going so far. His sister had calmed down a little and he had even seen Sophia earlier that day. He reached the edge of the lake grinning, he threw down a towel and kicked off his shoes. He had put on dark blue, knee length swimming trunks and a white t-shirt before he came outside. He took off his shirt and stretched again before diving in to the lake quickly to get through the coldness that rushed past him as he went underwater deeper then came back up popping up in the middle of the lake.

He looked around quickly, making sure no one was in sight, he wasn't very big on having people watch him and since he was prefect, it probably wasn't proper of him swimming in the lake. But the day was hot and the lake looked inviting to him. He couldn't resist it and was a bit surprised that he had as long as he had.

“Hey Danielle,” Jaden said up as he stretched and woke up to his small child hitting him in the head with her stuffed bear. It was a weekend and his parents had brought her to the school for a visit. He sat up and pulled the small girl in her arms. “How about we go to the lake today?” in response to her father’s question the little girl giggled and clapped her hands. Like her father she loved the water and loved to play in it. “Okay we will go now.” He dressed her in a small dress of pink with flowers embroidered on it and threw some clothes of his own on. Placing Dani on his shoulders he started toward the grand stair case and all the way down the lake. "Oh look Dani, there is already someone here.." he commented quietly

Faylen grinned as the sun kissed his skin delightfully as he swam around the lake in laps. He stopped for a second realizing his legs were starting to grow heavy and knew he needed to take a break for a little bit. He swam to the side of the lake right next to where he had put his towel and hoisted himself out of the water standing up and shaking his hair a little to get most of the water out of it. That's when he noticed he wasn't alone anymore. A boy he hadn't recognized before and a young girl was standing near him. "Oh, hello." He said smiling brightly at them.

“Hello,” Jaden said setting Danielle down on the ground and taking a hold of her small hand. “Hi!” the little girl said waving her hand back and forth and smiling brightly up at the boy in front of them. She then looked up at Jaden and pointed to the water loudly stating that it was in fact water. “Yeah Danielle, that is water.” He said walking closer to the edge with her so that she could play in it. He sat down at the edge and held Dani close to him to make sure she didn’t fall in. he didn’t know what he would do if anything ever happened to her.
